A Novice's Article For Gambling On Craps Online

If you're new to online casino gambling, you may want to try playing craps. This game can be quite confusing for novice gamblers, however. The betting strategies can be complicated and complex and there is a lot of money at stake, so the risks are high. This game is the same online as it is in a live casino. However, with a free online casino, you may have the option to play for free with imaginary money instead of betting your hard-earned cash. Or you could participate in a freeroll game.

Since learning even just the basics is difficult, this article will only focus on those basics. Later, after you've become a pro with these simple strategies, then you may want to learn more about some of the more complex betting strategies. You may also want to try out those advanced techniques at that time using free play money at a free online casino.

If you're playing craps live in a real casino, this game is really fast paced. There are four dealers and a shooter required to play. Online casino gambling is slightly different because the shooter can circle around the table. Also, the computer program actually does a lot of the work with payouts and collecting for losses.

Free online casino craps games start out with a "come out" roll of the dice. This sets the point the shooter wants to re-roll before "crapping" out with a seven on the dice. The basic bet for this game is called the "pass line." When players elect to "don't pass," that is the opposite of the winning bet. So the "come out" roll gets an "OFF" marker-unless the "come out" roll is 11 or 7 in which case you win even cash. After that, if you roll a 7 before you hit the point, you lose.

When you do the "come out" roll, you don't want to get a 12, a 3, or a 2. That's called "craps" and it means you lose. However, rolling a 10, 9, 8, 6, 5, or 4 that would be your point which you want to roll again before getting a 7. First, you use the "pass line" to place a bet and you bet that you will hit the point before you hit a 7. If you opt to go with the "don't pass" line, that mean you bet that a 7 will roll before the point number is hit.

Let's look at an online casino gambling scenario to illustrate the point:

First the dealer puts the black "off" marker out so everyone can place their bets. Then the shooter rolls for the "come out" dice. He gets a 7 so that means everyone wins their bet-unless they placed a "don't pass" bet. The players who did that actually lose.

Now it's a new round and the dealer puts the black "off" marker out again. People place bets. But in this case the shooter rolls a 5 on the dice for the "come out." The dealer will then flip over the black "off" marker so it shows the white "on" side and he'll put it by the 5 on the board. The shooter rolls several times and finally succeeds in rolling a 5 on the dice without getting a 7. Again, everyone wins-unless they bet on the "don't pass."

So now it's another round. Again the dealer puts the black "off" marker out and everyone who wants to play places their bests. In this scenario the This time, the shooter gets a 6 on the "come out" roll. So the dealer flips the white "on" marker and puts it by the 6. This time the shooter rolls numerous times and then rolls a 7 without getting a 6. Now the opposite is true. Everyone loses-unless they placed a bet on the "don't pass" line. Those betters win this time around.

Online casino gambling playing craps can be much more complex than this, however, it's a good idea to figure out how to play this game using a free online casino where you don't bet real money and to get confident in betting with the basics before getting more advanced.
